Love the hardcover, beautiful gold detail! I feel the dust jacket could've been better, colouring was a bit dull, didn't really stand out, not much contrast between the colours. Also end papers felt a bit cartoonish. Very good quality of the book in general and still very pretty.
I love the art, the book recommendations and the surprise! Lilac is super attentive and helpful with my queries and I am in gneral super happy with it. I am not giving it full 5 starts just because I would enjoy more standalones/complete sagas as I am super impatient and hate waiting for stories to release and not knowing if I would have the same edition or not as this book :)
I love the books by Lilac libary - the quality is amazing and the books choices are always great - just wish it more frequent! ☺️
Overall book itself looked stunning the dust jacket was okay. Really didn't like the overlays of information that came with the book as they don't fit the book well and they ruined the spayed edge by making it "gappy". So I need to now store them separately from the book... And knowing me they will probably get lost. Have not gotten round to reading so I cannot judge the actual choice of book.
It was my first subscription box from lilac library it blew me away the book is beyond stunning the quality is amazing. I'll be looking forward to my quarterly boxes
